The Lawrence Funderburke Youth Organization (LFYO) serves the needs of youth ages 9-14. Our long-term, holistic, mentoring, financial literacy and life skills training programs are designed to equip youth with the knowledge, resources and opportunities to succeed. Additionally, our group/sports activities & camps and our scholarship opportunities are focused on providing access to resources to allow youth to thrive and succeed in and outside of the classroom.
Our complete program is centered around the development of healthy, long-term mentoring relationships. Youth participants are matched in small groups with caring, compassionate, committed mentors who are pre-screened and trained.
LifeskillsOur life skills curriculum, known as Are you a POSITIVE one or a NEGATIVE zero?, is age specific and includes, group activities, workshops and group discussions.
